.:: BaCK To BLoGGiNG? ::.

'It saddens me to say this but i dun think i can keep up with keeping this blog up anymore...' was what i was thinking of posting one of these fine days... but thinking two three times about blogging, about how much it space it gives me to express whatever la... and to use my english! And how this blog provides me with a space to rant nearly random stuff most of the time...

So here i am... not sleeping again and had that feeling to blog! lol... so what has been going on since the last post? (which is in flipping january for pete's sake! damn... that's nearly 2 months already...). Well dear readers... a lot has been going on, off, over, under etc. Since I have been a lazy bum all these time, i would not like to punish myself and promise you that i'd post things up later (which might never happen) but i'll just take the easy way out and summarize... hahahaha...

Okie dokie... First up, there was that trip i took to Venise! That romantic city with flowing canals everywhere... What's the scoop with that trip? Well... I went with my coursemate, Jeck and Azmi and a housemate of mine, Ammar. The weather kindda sucked though. We got snow the 1st day we arrived. The it rained the 2nd day. But thankfully it was sunny n bright on the 3rd day. And how many days did we stay there? Technically, i would say 3 since our 4th day was mostly filler with our journey back to Dublin.

Summarizing Venise... It's a lovely lil city... Romantic, ideal for lovie dovies, camera obsessed photographers and well, i would actually reccommend it to anyone but please please please go in the summer! It'll be much nicer. A damp Venise was ok but when I imagined myself going there, i imagined small winding yellow lanes with a touch of sunlight. It'd be goldenny coloured and so on but the weather took that all away... So please do visit Venise anytime in the hot seasons! :D

Oh and the Gondola is worth the money i guess... To me, not riding the Gondola is kindda a wasted trip to Venise cos it does show you another kindda atmosphere of the lil floating city. Azmi, Jeck and I took a Gondola ride at dust... I would advise to take it during the day... Better pics for you cam whores! lol... But seriously, you'd get a better view and better pics when the sun's out!

So seeing as how things are going i don't think this is actually what you can call summarizing... heck let's just get on with it... Well, my 1st sem exam wasn't something to be proud of but i thankfully passed all the requirements and do not need to resit the papers sometime in aug/sept. Which means that I can go back home! yay! (and may HE let me do my very best in sem 2 as well...).

Moving on...
What happened in February? I truthfully do not really remember anything that significant that left much of a special memory... Thing happened i guess... hurm... lemme see... Owh yeah... It actually snowed quite well in Dublin... Well, for those who did not watch the news (i don't blame you, the very action of pressing the remote to the channel with news does slip my mind MOST of the time) there was this time when snow was hitting UK quit hard, London suffering (why do i call it suffering? it's fluffy white snow....) the worst hit ever but i think people liked it! It doesn't usually snow that hard in these parts of Europe (and i say that from experience of being born and raised here... yeah right! hahaha!).

Hiya PeePs!

I'm back! hahaha... i would like to apologize for not posting up something right after my exams ended but i don't think i need to! hahaha (such rudeness is sometimes needed in life, live with it! :P). Well peeps, what did this lil guy do after his exams ended? Did he go on a movie marathon or sleeping marathon?!?!?! No sir, he did not... This lil guy instead... wait... lemme recall... owh well, just went to eat out with a few friends... Yunus, Pau n Tyra... We had fish and chips... I would recommend the fish but the chips was a totally different story...

Well anyway, once i got home, I went on a MAD baking spree... Yes, this lil guy did do something very productive... hahaha... which does make you wonder if the exams has made him blow his fuse or something... but this lil guy has a reason to his very unusual (and unstable) behaviour; it was for a january burfday party held the day after... It was intended to be a lil gathering but somehow became very HUGE but no complaints there... MORE PEEPS = MORE FOOD VARIATIONS! hahahaha... yes, this lil guy was also being selfing in the midst of being kind... whatever la... let's get on to the main subject shall we?

So this lil guy started to bake a chocolate cake... but he knew that it'll be quite small... so he decided to make two and place them on top of each other to make it taller; more worthy looking for birthdays... hahaha... Hey, i believe that the exterior aspect is as important as the interior! it's a double threat gitew... what would make it a triple threat i do not know... Well, moving on... So here's a few pics of the process of how the product was achieved! After he was done with the now dubbed 'choco madness cake' (credits goes to shukor of liverpool for actually asking for the name which i have not even thought about before) simply because he went mad with the chocolates, this lil guy then went on and made cupcakes! or muffins! dunno... it's either one... but it's edible, that's the most important part right. rather than argue whether they were cupcakes or muffins, it's better to tall you that they tasted quite great; even if i do say so myself! =) But since it was late already then, i did not master up enough mental capacity to actually think about taking the pics of the process of making them... lol... to tired then... :P So I'll just let you marvel at the pic...

So today... we had that january burfday bash! it was quite cool (even though i was like... totally shocked at how late i woke up! Kindda rushed wth everything; shower, getting ready (hahaha... only those 2 pown nak wat...) then Dani D n Me walked all the way to RCSI... we thought we were the late ones when in fact, we were among the few early birds... hahaha... irony... but hey, x kesah pown at the tyme... The ones that were already there at the tyme were Shida, Dhil, Lokman, Casper n Azmi (along with my cupcakes that my housemate Ammar brought with him a few minutes ahead of us). After most of us were there, I kindda marvelled at the food that was there... There were cakes (made by yours truly), fried noodle, ice cream!, sausage rolls, fish crackers!, wedges... i think that was it... then ee n aus came with DADIH which i sadly didn't eat... low apetite this morning even though i was starving like mad! hahaha...

Later on in the evening I went to the movies! Watched 'My Bloody Valentine 3D' with Anis, Mashitah n Azmie. This movie is so tiring! Why? because it has a lot of suspence, a lot of things that can make you scream (yes, i did scream, quite a lot for that matter...) and well... it makes you think quite a lot too... but be warned... A WHOLE LOT OF VERY RUTHLESS KILLING AND BLOOD! hahaha... with that said, i think you would be able to enjoy it... it's interesting to say the least but after it ended, you'll feel very tired at all the screaming, all the curling up into a ball, all the shielding your view from very painful looking killing and so on... hahaha... but it was fun

So if you haven't noticed, the layout's different... And it's strange too! LoL... I kindda don't like it at the moment but i can't let my hard work go to waste... so here it is for your viewing enjoyment! Hahahaha...

Well anyhow... Nothing much happened yesterday as I was mostly bedridden the whole day... not because of any disease or anything... just lethargy! and yeah... am not going to do anything crazy like sleeping for only an hour for a while! hehehe... I've done something on an very similar basis before when i was in McB (Mara College Banting) when i did not sleep (nope... not because of studies...) the whole night... but the next day i slept like a log! hahaha... from the evening till about 11pm! yeah... and i was fasting then too! bukak puase at 11pm? interesting kan? hahaha...

Well... I guess I don't have much to post up this tyme... Raring to end the exams soon! 3 more papers and I'm free! then I'll start getting scared of the results coming out... that's probably the basic life cycle of a student that probably everyone actually goes through right? sigh... But i am getting pretty bored...

He had the Nerve!

As I was saying before... I have oral anatomy exam today... yeah... just had it at 9.10am in the morning... GOSH... how early was that! hahaha... It got me out of bed earlier than i usually do! LoL... But leaving the house early like today, it felt kindda great in a way cos i haven't done something like walking to RCSI in the morning for quite some time already...

anyway... who had the nerve?!?!?! I got Dr Jane Holland (my mentor!) and Mr Paul Farell for my anotomy exam... LoL... It was kindda ok i guess... quite some mix ups here and there... but i was really confused with the nerves! hahaha... I HATE NERVES! but without nerves, we won't function that well now, would we? A whole semester of anatomy ended with 10 minutes of oral exam... how ironic things can get... but yeah... i don't have much complaints... what's done is done! 3 more papers next week... Neuromuscular on Tuesday... Histology on Wednesday... Health Behaviour and Society on Thursday! and then... I'm home free for a few weeks before class starts on the 9th of Feb! Yay! And I've already planned to watch 'Bride's War' with a few peeps from UCD and RCSI naturally la kan... hehehe... Eagerly waiting for the 22nd... but then i'd have to be worrying about the results coming out on the 6th! Well... nothing much then... just pray for the best...

Moving on swiftly... I think that's probably all for today's post... Sleepy + Mild Headache... possible cures? SLEEP! What else is there to it? Owh yeah... to N, sorry that now because of my previous post, you're glued to Lipstick Jungle too! hahaha... it's great... i know... you can thank me plenty later on after you're done with the series... :P

Owh... and what was great was that when I returned home... I checked for new Mangas... And 2 mangas was published on the same day! (The ones that i read la...) Naruto and Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicles! a capital YAY for that! hehehe... These images are very bad photoshop products of mine as it only took a few minutes to cut and paste but hey... there're just there for decorative purposes and well... just wanted to put lil chunks from the manga for your enjoyment (or not... still... it's there! :P)

What's with the title of the post? Hahaha... it's just a song on the OST i just recieved via post this evening... But's I'll talk about that a little more in depth (like i'd do that) later on...

First and foremost... I have not been updating in a VERY long time... And in the midst of the exams... I have been blog hopping here and there... I've been reading (aside from the notes) and I was inspired to post more! LoL... As the heading of the blog says... it is a place for my (sometimes) worthless rants! hahaha...

Moving on swiftly... EXAMS... Whoever invented exams should die! hahaha Or maybe the're already dead already... Ok, i don't literally mean that... but doesn't exam makes your life... a little more hectic? packed? boring? I feel the same thing but i do think that exams does make your life a little more interesting... a little... note that... Well, it made me blog hop more... it made me more addicted to the net... it made me cry (hahaha, the cat's out of the bag!)... it made me hyper (ask my housemates! caffiene should not be mixed with cocoa... honestly... but it does taste ABSOLUTELY GREAT!)...

So 2 papers down already... the first one was haemopoetic and immune system... the second one was nutrition and energy... i have no comment on how i fared on either one... only hoping for the best... lol... well well... let's just leave that topic as it is... and oral anatomy on friday! my week has been a BLAST! i think even my abdomen can be blasted from the inside from all the influx of unnecessary food... (and this sentence just came from the mind of a future doctor? hahaha... what's the future gonna be like? FUN!)

Anyway... once i start to type... it's quite hard to stop... posting new stuff on a blog is kindda addictive... (that coming from someone who hasn't updated in ages... sigh...). Well... I was thinking of revamping the blog with a new layout which ended up as just a very good intention... but i did try... just didn't work out too well... so i've given up momentarily... will try to do it again sometime after the exams! hahaha...

So, where were we? Owh well... lemme just comment on a series i've watched... Britney Marican... i know you don't read my blog, but just wanna tell you that i appreciate it very much that you introduced me to Lipstick Jungle! hahaha... (strolling down memory lane... i remembered you only mentioning it really... but then again, that's the only thing you needed to do and the result was that i was hooked! hahahaha)

Lipstick jungle is very... interesting... it shows you the scandalous life of manhattan's elite... Owh wait, that's Gossip Girl (which is still THE BOMB! hahaha MORE MORE MORE!) This series is about these gurls down here... good friends, different careers, life etc but they's still best friends and all... Robert Buckley might be another factor, but that's a whole other story... I know i shouldn't have mentioned it but hahaha... whatever... But seriously... A fashion designer, an ex-film director probably, and an editor of a magazine... HOW TOTALLY AWESOME are their careers? I do not have any regrets (a little white lie) in becoming a doctor-to-be but hey... a guy can dream about having more than what he's actually trying to achieve! hahaha... And like... owh... i should stop already about lipstick jungle and move on to the title of the post...

Moving onto 'New Classic'... That's the title of a song that was in this movie... 'Another Cinderella Story'... A cheap immitation of 'A cinderella Story' you say? Well... I honestly enjoyed it so i wouldn't really say it like that... But in many ways, you could actually predict what was going to happen... But on the plus side... THERE's TOTALLY LOTS OF DANCING! yeah! a really weird passion of mine that probably not many knew... I love dancing but i do not dance much... weird, but true... But i do want to... And i honestly have to say i have done a little ever since i've stepped foot into RCSI... hahahaha... just dancing, nothing more... :P

Anywayz... about the cast... Selena Gomez is probably a rising starlett... she was on barney! (yeah... and i think i've seen her on barney at home! I do watch barney... not ashamed of it since i can always use the excuse of watching it with my lil siblings!). Selena's the ella in the story... And prince very very charming? who's that guy... la la la la la la la la (adaptation of pink's 'whos that gurl')... Drew Seeley... Not a very familiar name, i know... but hey... he's familiar to me... He sang on a few disney songs before so i kindda know his name a little before watching this... BOTH are FANTASTIC dancers... (rehearsals? maybe... maybe just inborn talents? hahaha). Anyway... there's no FAIRY GODMOTHER so it wasn't all abra kadabra... the stepmother is hilarious, not much evil... but still, the whole movie was kindda... well... hurm... it's not something that makes you jump or those kindda stuff... unless you join in with the dance steps... it just gives you those mushy feelings at times... and the ending is so so a fairytale... just that much i don't agree on, but the rest... a very relaxing movie to enjoy... owh... the tango scene is priceless! =)
